About Hair Extension Services

You think it would be easy to find a good hair extension artist. After all, we invented it in Hollywood and exposed it to the world.  When you need hair extensions in Atlanta you need to go to someone who cares about your hair and who wears hair extensions themselves but still has healthy hair!

Clip-In Hair Extensions
Jessica Simpson Hair Extension method is great if you want to spend an arm and a leg, but at healthy hair extensions we  offer custom clip-in hair extension services which our clients love because it is custom blended for texture and color. These are great alternatives for those who are gun shy about getting permanent hair extensions.

Keratip Hair Extensions

Why are they so expensive? Well Keratip hair is similar to the Great Lengths Hair Extension method that starts at $2500 and up in salons. These are great because they do not add any additional product to link the hair to the hair extensions. These require precision installation and expertise because it uses a specially designed protein keratin. What most people won't tell you is that this "keratin protein" is essentially an adhesive composed of materials similar to the makeup of our hair  used to attach to your hair. This hair extension method requires an expert who is familiar with the right products to remove the hair extensions. It costs more because it requires a lot more skill and precision. It is not recommended for everyone. You must already have healthy hair if you are considering this method.

Mini-Illusions Hair Extensions
At healthy hair extensions we are one of a handful of hair extension artists who uses this method of hair extensions around the country. This method is a great improvement on the Hair Dreams or Hair Loc method that is very popular with a lot women who get hair extensions. What is different with the Mini Illusions is that the connector that we use is the only patented alloyed copper connector that will not corrode, disintegrate or damage the hair. It's unique chemical makeup was designed by a company in Los Angeles from whom I received extensive training in this method. This is great for African-American women and all women of all races. It has no seams and does not pull or tug on the hair. I recommend it for people who have medical conditions such as thyroid issues.  We also used a silicone lined micro-link that provides the same benefits to prevent hair from snagging or breaking on the copper tubes.

Flash Point
This is a hair extension method uses a plastic connecting tube that is used by electricians and plumbers....one day someone must have experimented as we believe...where there is a will there is a weave...we have Flash Point for hair. This is our personal favorite method for long-lasting hair extensions that can be processed chemically and that is easy and safe to remove.

Micro Links
This method attaches wefted hair to your hair with small copper connectors. Using a hand-tied weft it ensures flat to the touch hair. This method is perfect for women with fine hair who don't want to cornrow their hair to have wefted hair attached to their hair. It is a also great for women who desire hair extensions but don't have the budget for strand by strand extensions.

Skin Wefts
Skin weft hair extensions is wonderful for thin and fine hair.  Skin weft hair extensions allow you to say goodbye to lumpy and bumpy weaves that pull on your hair.  The skin weft uses small pieces of paper thin and hand tied wefts that is applied directly to your hair.  Lightweight and seamless they offer you versatility and sleekness. They last up to six weeks and take two hours to apply.  The hair for skin weft hair extensions is reusable and over time saves you money.
